The DFRobot DC-DC Multi-Output Buck Converter (3.3V/5V/9V/12V) is a crucial component in numerous applications that require varying DC output voltages. This DC step-down voltage power module is designed to convert an input of 7.5V~30V into an output of 3.3V/5V/9V/12V, with a default setting of 5V. The desired output can be selected by creating a short circuit on the corresponding pads located on the rear of the device.

The converter is capable of withstanding a load current of up to 5A, provided there is adequate heat dissipation. It is equipped with over-temperature and overload protections that activate at 70 ℃. Additionally, the device features an onboard LED indicator. This indicator emits a steady red light when the device is functioning correctly. However, if the protection mechanism is activated, the LED light will extinguish and the voltage will automatically reduce to 0.1V.

This multi-voltage buck power module is versatile and can be utilized in power control systems for a variety of devices including LEDs, robots, drones, servos, and low-power motors.

Please note: It is important to ensure suitable heat dissipation when the device is handling a load current of up to 5A to prevent triggering the protection mechanism.
