This SparkFun Slip Ring - 6 Wire (2A) is a remarkably simple electromechanical assembly that allows electronic signals to be passed through its rotating innards. Commonly, you’d find slip rings in wind turbines, radar antenna, or anything else that requires continuous 360° rotation while maintaining an electrical connection.

This particular slip ring provides you with a compact body with gold-on-gold alloy fiber brush to plated ring contacts inside.

Grand produit performant pour le prix.

Bague collectrice SparkFun Bien que cela semble cher pour ce que vous obtenez, il est en fait assez bien construit. Cependant, vous ne devez pas dépasser la limite souple de 250 tr / min et respecter un cycle de service léger. Si votre projet devrait dépasser ces spécifications, vous devriez envisager une version plus industrielle comme celles de Moflow ou similaire. Si vous comparez le prix d'une unité Moflow à l'unité à prix fixe de Sparkfun, la bague collectrice Sparkfun est en fait une très bonne affaire.

Great performing product for the price.

SparkFun Slip Ring While it seems expensive for what you get, it's actually pretty well built. However, you should not exceed the 250rpm soft limit and keep to a light duty cycle. If you project is expected to exceed those specs you should look at a more industrial version like those from Moflow or similar. If you compare the price of a Moflow unit to Sparkfun's hobby priced unit, the Sparkfun Slip Ring is actually a pretty good deal.
