The Unitree Go1 Pro Quadruped series consists of robots designed for the research and development of autonomous systems in the fields of robot human interaction (HRI), SLAM, and transportation. Thanks to its four legs and 12 degrees of freedom, this robot is capable of navigating a variety of terrains. The Go1 is Unitrees latest device and comes with an improved drive and power management system, enabling a speed (depending on the model) of up to 3.7 m/s or 11.88 km/h with an operating time of up to 2.5 hours. Additionally, its motors have a torque of 23.70 N.m at the body/thighs and 35.55 N.m at the knees, allowing it to execute jumps or backflips.
Equipment and Variants
The Go1 series has three variants: Go1 Air, Go1 Pro, and Go1 Edu. These variants differ slightly in terms of their processors and sensor systems. The Air and Pro variants come with one or three 4*1.43GHz 128Core 0.5T processors and one or five Super Sensor Systems, respectively. Both variants are equipped with three ultrasonic sensors.
The Go1 Edu variant has up to three nano processors, five Super Sensor Systems, and four ultrasonic sensors.
Software
The Go1 comes standard with an ARM Cortex A72 CPU, which provides sufficient performance for SLAM, optional devices such as 3D LiDAR for precise mapping solutions, and much more.
In addition, You are provided with complete simulation and visualization tools, such as Webots, Gazebo, or RViZ. These tools offer two major advantages. On the one hand, they enable feasibility studies without existing hardware, as well as application development with minimal costs.
